This guided waterfall abseiling experience lets you descend down a natural rock face beside the cascade, with professional rope systems and full support from The Marvel guide team. 🚌 TRANSPORT OR OWN TRANSPORT Up and down transport is available from Colombo Fort for participants who select the transport option. The route will be Colombo Fort → Gampaha → Pasyala → Warakapola → Mawanella → Hemmathagama → Gampola → Ramboda → Puna Ella. Participants who prefer to travel independently are also welcome to join using their own transport and meet the team directly at the location. Please select the suitable option when registering for the event. 🚩 BEGINNING — MEET & PREPARATION Your day begins early with pickup from Colombo Fort and a gentle drive to Puna Ella. Upon arrival at the adventure site, our professional guides will welcome you, help you check in, and fit you with high-quality safety gear including helmet, harness, and rope equipment. You’ll receive a clear briefing explaining every stage of the abseiling process so you know what to expect. 📍 ABSEILING DESCENT After preparation, you’ll move to the top of the waterfall abseiling point. With support from your guides, you will descend the rock surface beside the flowing water using a secure rope system. This controlled descent lets you move steadily and comfortably down the waterfall wall while enjoying expansive views of nature around you. 🪨 WATERFALL WALK & VIEW Once you reach the base of the waterfall, your guides will lead you along a rock path beside the water, where you can enjoy the cool mist and natural atmosphere of Puna Ella. This section offers a chance to pause, look around, and appreciate the environment at close range. 🧗 WALK BACK UP TO THE MEETING POINT After spending time near the waterfall, you’ll follow a path back up to the upper meeting area. Your guide team will support you along the way, helping you move comfortably and steadily from the waterfall base back to the starting point. 🍽️ FINISH — REFRESH & RETURN Once back at the meeting area, enjoy refreshments, a meal, and the changing room facilities provided. This gives you a chance to rest and freshen up before returning to Colombo, completing a full day of engaging outdoor activity and lasting memories.
