Terms & Conditions – The Marvel Adventures
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 Advance Payment
A non-refundable advance payment of LKR 10,000 is required to reserve your slot for any event.
1.2 Full Payment
The full balance must be settled at least 1 day prior to the event date.
1.3 Payment Confirmation (Card / KOKO / Mintpay)
For payments made via card, KOKO Pay, or Mintpay, participants are required to submit the payment receipt or confirmation to our Sales Team via WhatsApp or Email.
Your booking will be considered confirmed only after receipt verification by our team.
1.4 Confirmation & Communication
Once the advance payment is received and verified, our Operations Team will add you to a dedicated WhatsApp group within 72 hours.
1.5 Event Communication
All event updates, schedules, instructions, and important information will be shared through this WhatsApp group. Participants are responsible for staying updated.
2. Event Participation
2.1 Preparation
Participants must follow all instructions shared prior to the event and ensure they are physically and mentally prepared.
2.2 Arrival
All participants must arrive on time at the designated location as per the schedule shared.
2.3 Safety Compliance
Participants must strictly follow all safety instructions provided by guides at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund.
3. Media & Deliverables
3.1 Event Footages (Photos & Videos)
All event photos and videos will be uploaded to a Google Drive link and shared via the WhatsApp group within 5 days after the event.
3.2 Edited Reels / Videos
If you have requested edited reels or videos, they will be delivered within 10 days after the event.
3.3 Media Limitations
Media coverage (DSLR, drone, or mobile) depends on weather conditions, safety requirements, and technical factors. While we aim to capture all key moments, availability is not guaranteed.
3.4 Equipment Limitations Compensation
If DSLR or drone coverage is not possible due to unforeseen reasons (weather, safety, or technical issues), a compensation of LKR 2,500 will be provided.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Organizer Cancellation
Events may be cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or emergencies (even on the event day).
In such cases, participants will receive:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer to a future event
4.2 Client Cancellation
- More than 14 working days before the event
→ Full refund OR option to transfer to a future event - 14 to 7 working days before the event
→ 20% cancellation fee (80% refund) OR option to transfer - Less than 7 working days before the event / No-show
→ No refund (100% charge applies)
5. Event Day Policy
5.1 Weather Interruptions
If the event is cancelled after arrival at the location due to weather or safety concerns, a 60% refund will be issued. (Transportation, meals, and operational costs will be deducted.)
6. General Conditions
6.1 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen external factors.
6.2 Liability
All participants join activities at their own risk. By confirming a booking, participants acknowledge the nature of adventure activities and agree to follow all safety protocols.
6.3 Media Usage Rights
Photos and videos captured during events may be used by The Marvel Adventures for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
